Here’s how the services fit together.

  • Books kept current

Ledgers posted and reconciled month by month, so every other piece of work starts from records that are already right.

  • Filings prepared from work already done

VAT, payroll and tax returns come out of the monthly bookkeeping rather than a separate scramble before each date.

  • Numbers used, not just filed

Management accounts and a read on the figures when a decision is being made, from the same records.

The dates you are working towards

VAT returns are filed quarterly, due by the 15th of the second month following the quarter end. We track them for every client, so a deadline is dealt with before it becomes urgent.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Questions about our services

How the services combine, and what happens when your needs change.

  • Can I use one service on its own?

Yes. Each service is offered on its own, and many clients start with one — payroll, or the VAT returns — and add others later. Where two services share the same records, such as bookkeeping and VAT, we tell you which combination makes the work simpler.

  • Do you do the work yourselves, or pass it on?

The work described on these pages is done by Accurit. Where something sits outside our scope — an audit, a legal opinion, a regulatory licensing question — we say so, and work alongside the adviser you appoint.

  • How does pricing work across several services?

On a fixed fee agreed before we start, covering the services you take together. It does not change with the hours we spend, and it is revisited with you if the scope changes.

  • What if my needs change during the year?

You tell your accountant and the scope is adjusted. A first employee brings payroll into scope; selling into a new market brings a VAT question. Because one person already knows your business, the change is a conversation rather than a new engagement.
